Terms of Service

1. Service

IT-QA (the "Service") is a Q&A platform operated by TechAthletes (Japan). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Points

Points are an in-Service unit you can buy with Stripe and use to fund bounties on your own questions or to tip helpful answers. Points have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash. We do not transfer balances between users outside of the bounty and tip flows.

Unused points expire 180 days after they are last credited. We will show your balance and expiry on your account page.

4. Bounties and Tips

When you attach a bounty to a question, the points are held in escrow. You may distribute the bounty across one or more answers by percentage. Once distributed, the allocation is final.

5. Refunds

You may request a refund of unused points within 7 days of purchase via Stripe. Points that have been spent (bounties posted or tips sent) are non-refundable.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not post unlawful, harmful, or infringing content. Do not abuse bounties or tips to launder value, evade taxes, or circumvent payment rules.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site at least 14 days before they take effect.
